Insights into ongoing filming, projects in post-production, and newly released films and videos:

Videos featuring the winners of the 2026 Vienna Health Award

In August, filming took place for the interview videos featuring the recipients of the 2026 Vienna Health Award. In mid-September, the recorded interviews were screened at the awards ceremony in Vienna City Hall and subsequently published on the YouTube channel of the Vienna Health Promotion agency (WIENER GESUNDHEITSFÖRDERUNG).

Drehstrom Filmproduktion has been producing these interview videos since 2019.

Music videos for Cyan Spider Music

In mid-June, filming took place in Styria for two new performance-based music videos by the rapper Cyan Spider. "Wunder" was shot on an abandoned railway track, surrounded by forests and meadows. For "Life in Line," Cyan Spider and singer Corinna traveled through Western Styria in a small van.

In his music, Cyan Spider delves deeply into his own personal life story. His lyrics speak of crises, the search for meaning and direction, and a new beginning that brings him hope and inner peace.

Post-production for both music videos has been completed, and "Wunder" was released on July 10th.

"Life in Line" was released in early September 2026, alongside Cyan Spider’s new album, "T-RAP-I."

Short film "Building a Global Mathematics Hub"

The Faculty of Mathematics at the UNIVERSITY OF VIENNA is currently one of the leading centers for mathematical research and teaching in Europe. In the summer of 2026 a film was produced for the International Congress of Mathematicians ICM - INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF MATHEMATICIANS hat highlights the faculty’s international orientation, significant growth, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Filming took place in mid-June at three University of Vienna locations: Oskar-Morgenstern-Platz, the Erwin Schrödinger Institute, and the arcaded courtyard (Arkadenhof) of the main building. Post-production was handled by the London-based film production company WEBSEDGE which specializes in science communication — a partner with whom Drehstrom Filmproduktion has collaborated on various projects in Vienna and Austria for several years.

The film has been released on YouTube and was screened at the ICM in Philadelphia, USA, at the end of July.
