Martin Gütlbauer: This year's Challenge is to climb the Millennium Tower on World COPD Day. Especially this year with the Coronavirus and masks and keeping distance and I don't know what else will come along. For me, this is a challenge within the challenge - to really concentrate on the essentials. And that's Eberhard and I, that we go up there as a team, in the same rhythm, that we can really tune into each other well and block out everything else as much as possible.
Dr. Milos Petrovic: The third year, the third Challenge - this year marked by Corona, where we have to be careful, disinfect our hands, wear a mask. We won't do that in this year's Challenge, but we will keep a respectful distance. After St. Stephen's Cathedral and last year's Danube Tower, this year it's the Millennium Tower. More demands, more steps, more effort. And we're not getting younger, but we are getting fitter.
Eberhard Jordan: Here on the rooftop terrace, the Challenge in Vienna should then end in November, in Tyrol it will again end at the Bergisel ski jump. And that's actually quite a success for times when it's very uncertain whether you can even hold an event, whether you're even allowed to go up anywhere, whether you can even train, and I'm looking forward to that.
Eberhard Jordan climbed tall buildings to draw attention to the fact that a happy life is possible with the lung disease COPD. In 2020, the film production also accompanied the awareness campaign myCOPD-CHALLENGE with the production of a video. The climb to the Millennium Tower in Vienna had to be postponed until 2021 due to the covid pandemic.
